“Crystal was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful when my husband and I came in and ordered lawn mix for delivery. Then I came back to get seed, fertilizer, and turf mulch. Thank you, Crystal, you're the best! And delivery was last minute — the driver was also terrific.”
“Great delivery. Very professional. Will buy from again for sure.”
“Crystal provided exceptional customer service. I deferred to her training and expertise regarding the type of beauty bark to get for my mother's yard. Because of her patience and expertise, and after looking at their product, I decided to go with the medium dark bark.”
“They were awesome to work with and the bark is exactly what I needed. They delivered it to my house on time and they were professional throughout the whole process. My newly landscaped garden beds are looking amazing. Thank you!”

“5 stars for KAI — KAI is absolutely amazing and a workhorse. So friendly and helpful... literally working his butt off. Had a flat while there and he helped fill up the tire so I could make it to a tire shop. Above and beyond!”
“I've gotten my driveway gravel from them for years. I wasn't sure the right product to get but they helped me through selection. The best place and great prices!”
“Best deal in town! The helpers outside were friendly and helpful! The cashier was very kind and loves military! Save yourself some time and money — don't go to Home Depot!”
“Had minimal idea what we were looking for going in to get rocks for a French drain. Staff was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Even had enough left over for use in the garden bed. Thank you!”
“We had a few last minute projects. I told them I had a pretty good sized project that would require quite a bit of rock. Without hesitation they told me they could fit me in and almost always get it to me same day.”
“Always have what I need, decent prices and have been going there for 20 years.”
“Really great prices on mulch and flagstone, and great customer service!”

As a rule of thumb, 1 cubic yard of bark covers about 100 sq ft at 3 inches deep, and 1 cubic yard of rock covers about 80 sq ft at the same depth. Use our free online calculator for an exact estimate, or call us — our staff can help you figure it out over the phone.
Yes! We deliver throughout Pierce County and Thurston County — from Spanaway and Lacey. Delivery fees depend on distance and the amount of material. Call us for a total delivered price with no surprises. Same-day delivery is often available.
Fine bark has small, uniform shreds — perfect for flower beds and a clean, manicured look. Medium bark is our most popular all-around choice for general landscaping, weed suppression, and moisture retention. Nugget bark features large, chunky pieces that last the longest and look great on slopes and pathways.
We recommend 5/8" minus crushed rock as a top layer — it compacts tightly and drains well in our rainy climate. For a base, 1¼" minus provides excellent stability. Recycled crushed asphalt is another popular, cost-effective option that binds together over time for a semi-permanent surface.
Absolutely — and we encourage it! Walk through either yard to see and feel each product up close. Our photos show a quarter for scale, but nothing beats seeing a full bin of material in person. Staff is always available to help you compare options.
We sell both! Bulk material by the cubic yard is the most cost-effective for larger projects. We also carry bagged bark, potting soil, topsoil, perlite, and other popular items for smaller jobs or easy transport in your car.
